After working in corporate America for over 25 years, LaShawn finally decided to pursue her dream of becoming a Certified Professional Coach (CPC). In addition to becoming a CPC, she is an Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner (ELIMP). She is a Core Energy Coach, where she practices transformational coaching. Because real transformation happens when you change from the inside out. The coaching process goes beyond surface-level solutions. She doesn’t just talk about goals, but helps her clients uncover what’s driving their thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors, because the truth is – most challenges don’t start in your circumstances. They start at the core.
LaShawn (Coach L) is the founder of Path Forward Coaching, L.L.C., where her vision is to see women fully confident in their identity in Christ, no longer living small, but walking boldly in purpose, clarity, and freedom. Having lived an unfulfilled life for years, she is passionate about helping other women discover who they are in Christ and step into the fullness of who they were created to be.
After hiring a coach to support her through a difficult season, LaShawn realized the benefits of having a life coach. She made significant strides in her life, career, and relationships. Through this journey, LaShawn greatly appreciates and understands the value, purpose and reward of being a life coach.
Coach L creates a safe atmosphere where women can be vulnerable, authentic, and fully themselves – without makeup and without fluff. She partners with her clients to assist them with achieving their goals. Through this partnership, Coach L help others uncover who they are meant to be. She believes everyone has the power within them to experience the life they desire. Afterall, who better to discover your “path forward” than you?
LaShawn’s greatest joy is being the mother of two amazing sons and the “GiGi” of three adorable grandchildren. But more than any title held – coach, professional, mother, GiGi– LaShawn is a woman who answered God’s call. And now she helps other women answer theirs.
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound
mind” – II Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)
